The Natiomal Chairman of the NDC Mr. Johnson Asiedu Nketiah has stated that the NDC has accepted to return to IPAC following the intervention of the National Peace Council.
The National Chairman was speaking at the forum organized by the EC at Peduase Lodge in the Eastern region on Thursday.
“On behalf of the Party I want to say we will return to IPAC but the other side is that we want to return to IPAC and no other forum”, Mr. Nketiah fumed.
The NDC, prior to the 2020 elections withdrew from IPAC citing bias on the part of the EC Chair, Jean Adukwei Mensa.
This triggered the National Peace Council to intervene and prevailed on the NDC to reconsider it’s decision owing to the adverse effect its continuous withdrawal has on the IPAC.
But the NDC has accepted to return to IPAC but not without a strong caution to the EC as was explicitly espoused by the Party’s chief scribe.
