The Minority Leader Dr. Casiel Ato Forson has revealed that the Finance Minister Ken Ofori Atta is going to resign in the coming days.

He said he got the unimpeachable information from the majority MPs in Parliament today whilst the Finance Minister was presenting the budget.

The MP for Ajumako Enyan Esiam who was speaking in an interview with TV3’s Ghana Tonight hosted by Alfred Hughes on Wednesday stressed that Ken Ofori Atta’s resignation is very rife.

“I am hearing that he is going to resign after this budget presentation. His own MPs were saying it today. It was all over”, Dr. Ato Forson revealed

He also noted that the Finance Minister is going to be remembered as the one who crushed the economy.

“He is the same Minister of Finance who has destroyed our economy. He has plunged Ghanaians into extreme poverty. He is going to be remembered as the one who gave Hair cut to Pensioners”, the Minority Leader fumed.

He later called on the Governor of Bank of Ghana to follow suit should Ken Ofori Atta resign since he is an accomplice in the destruction of Ghana’s economy.
