GIMPA’s Quality Training and Coaching Propelled me to become Youngest GJA President-Dwumfour

The GJA President, Mr. Albert Kwabena Dwumfour has lauded Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) for its quality training which is producing great and industrious people including him.

He said GIMPA is the reason his managerial and administrative prowess as GJA President has been exceptional adding that “GIMPA’s quality training and coaching propelled me to become the youngest GJA President”.

Mr. Dwumfour made the statement at the launch of GIMPA Business Students Alumni Network (GiBSAN) and Homecoming held at GIMPA -Accra.

“As I said earlier, GIMPA has done so much for me and I am where I am today due to the excellent coaching from GIMPA. As you are aware, GIMPA stands tall when it comes to capacity building, management and public administration.

We can’t forget GIMPA’s mission of enhancing the capacity of top level executives in public and private sectors”, the GJA President emphasized.

He added that “that is why at GIMPA, we don’t say we went through GIMPA but rather GIMPA went through us”.

The GJA President commended the leadership of GIMPA for producing great human capital for the country.

Moment of Panel Discussion participated by Mr. Theodore Albright, Prof. Samuel Bonsu and Richard Bansah.

He later commended the various individuals for birthing the Homecoming of GIMPA Business School Alumni Network(GIBSAN) stressing that it offers a great platform for networking and self development of members.

According to him, members of GIBSAN which is made up of illustrious sons and daughters of the land have so much to offer Ghanaians in terms of ideas and opportunities.

“ I’m also proud to be part of the initiative as I see it as a unique opportunity to give back to my Alma Mater”, he said.

On his part, the Rector of GIMPA, Prof. Samuel Bonsu eulogized the alumni saying “you the Alumni gave GIMPA its glory, we can not do without you”.

He assured the alumni that management will prioritize the activities of GiBSAN and ensure that their objective of nurturing the young and upcoming students become a reality.

He said GIMPA is not a place to only receive distance education but rather a place of dreams, aspirations and unending possibilities.

He therefore called on all and sundry to patronize school insisting it’s the only centre of excellence.

The President of GiBSAN , prof. Ebenezer Adaku said businesses in Ghana must be safe because there exist GIMPA adding that GiBSAN’s focus is to use the expertise of illustrious members of GiBSAN to shape future leaders through training and capacity building.

Eloquence Marketing is one of the sponsors for the event, whose CEO, Salome Kpekpena is an executive member of GiBSAN.
