The Founder and Leader of New Africa Foundation or the New Force, Nana Kwame Bediako has exposed the office of Diasporan Affairs at the Office of the President and questioned why the Office stated gh10,000 as payment for the Independence Square instead of gh30,000.00.

Nana Kwame Bediako also known as Freedom Jacob Caesar had planned what he termed a Convention at the Independence Square on January 7, 2024 where the likes of PLO Lumumba, Julius Malema and Peter Obi were billed to speak but the Office of the President stopped the scheduled program on the day of the event and issued a statement, part of which read that a refund of gh10,000 will be paid back to him.

But the Leader of the New Force who has declared finally that he is running for President has expressed his shock over how the gh30,000 he paid for the venue has suddenly changed to gh10,000.00.

“How many office of the President do we have?; I am shocked because we paid gh30,000.00 for the venue why are they putting out gh10,000.00

Is that how we behave in Ghana?”, Mr. Bediako stressed.

The Leader of the New Force Movement who was speaking with Alfred Ocansey on TV3 New Day on Thursday indicated that he was not going to take any refund after spending so much for the failed event.

He revealed that he invested 300,000 dollars into the event that was stopped by the government.

He said, he felt humiliated and disappointed for the cancelation wondering why the government would support the Global citizen concert spearheaded by Foreigners but stop a concert by Ghanain meant for the benefits of Africans.
