Dr. Botchwey explained that the Peace Walk, which is to last for 7 days, will take place from November 21st to 29th.
He said the Walk has been necessitated by their quest to contribute their quota to peace building and unity in the country.
“As Scouts and Guides, we uphold values of respect, harmony, and service. With Peace Gathering 2024, we call on every Ghanaian to put aside differences, celebrate our shared identity, and promote peace when it matters most”, Dr. Botchwey emphasized.
He added that this year’s theme, A” Call to Unity: Fly the Flag for Peace,” embodies their message stressing the need for Ghanaians to join them in the Kumasi to Accra Peace Walk.
“This is more than a walk; it is a call for unity and national pride, celebrating what it means to be Ghanaian”, the President stressed.
