PNC Swears-In New Leadership, Officially Outdoors Bernard Mornarh As Flagbearer
The Peoples’ National Convention (PNC ) has officially sworn in the new Executives elect, and officially outdoored the Flagbearer, Mr. Bernard Anbataayatela Mornah.
The swearing in which was performed by the Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Party Colonel Bayehor and witnessed by Chairman of the Congress Committee Hon. Alhassan Azong, saw dozens of Party supporters in attendance.
The Flagbearer elect, Mr. Bernard Mornah, in his address paid a glowing tribute to Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and Dr. Hilla Limann whom he said he takes inspiration from.
“I am humbled because I am coming to lead a political party and tradition that has the founder of the nation Dr. Kwame Nkrumah as its root and Dr. Liman as the stem. I will be the branch to bear fruits”, the Flagbearer stressed.
He said his vision is to ensure that “Ghana will be for Ghanaians and Africa will be for Africans”.
He expressed worry over the poor political leadership in Ghana saying Ghanaians are poor because their poorly led.
He said Ghana needs a courageous leader like him to ensure that resources of the state are not expropriated.
“But one thing is certain, change has come to Ghana with Bernard Anbaayatela Mornah in charge”, he assured.
He later gave the hint that he will be naming his running mate in the coming days.
