No Corrupt Officials Under NPP Government Will be Spared-John Mahama
NDC Presidential Candidate, John Dramani Mahama has sounded a strong signal to prosecute all Appointees of the NPP government who are engaged in fraudulent and corrupt deals.
He explained that governance is about the people and for the people hence the need to hold people accountable for their deeds which were inimical to the citizenry.
Former President Mahana was speaking at an interaction session with Journalists in Accra on Sunday May 7, 2024.
“No Corrupt Official under this government will be spared under my administration”, he assured.
Mr. Mahama said he was going to make corruption unattractive to his appointees adding that he would not clear his Appointees involved in corruption like President Akufo Addo is doing.
“I’m not going to be a clearing Agent, If the investigative Bodies Catch up with you, You are on your own”, The former President emphasized.
Former President who addressed over Five Hundred Journalists, stressed the need to reset the country and turn the tides towards economic recovery adding that the country has sunk into serious economic abyss.
He intimated that the time for change is now to rescue the people from their deplorable conditions maintaining that no one has been spared this excruciating hardship under the Akufo Addo/Bawumia government.
Mr. Mahama who addressed over 500 Journalists, outlined his policies with 24 hour economy being the flagship of all.
He revealed that the 24 hour economy would ensure an economy that manufactures its needs to address the exchange rate adding that it is going to be the best accelerator or catalyst Ghana could ever have.
