Next NDC Government Will Recover All Cantonments lands Bought In a “Donkomi”-Ablakwa Warns NPP Looters
The MP for North Tongu, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has reiterated next NDC government’s commitment to recover all lands looted by NPP Functionaries.
He explained that the next NDC government, under the “Operation Recover All Loots (ORAL) would ensure that all state lands particularly the Cantonments which have purchased in a “donkomi” manner shall be fiercely recovered.
The MP was addressing the media on Tuesday at the NDC Manifesto Sectoral Briefing.
“All Cantonments lands have been purchased like donkomi
All those who have purchased such lands, Operation Recover all loots is going to recover them, I pray that I’m made head of the ORAL team with Basintale as my deputy, we will recover all the loots”, Hon. Okudzeto warned.
The MP noted for his exposés, further revealed with shock that the market value of land in Cantonment is pegged at $700,000 to $1million yet NPP bigwigs have purchased at paltry 183,000.00.
He subsequently named some of the beneficiaries of the donkomi Cantonments lands including, the Governor of Bank of Ghana Dr. Ernest Addison, the COCOBOD CEO, Joseph Boahene Aidoo, Abena Osei Asare who is Minister of State at the Finance Ministry among others.
The vocal North Tongu MP also vowed to recover all scandalous payments made in the name of what he described as shady and nebulous contracts.
“The NDC will launch inquiries into the numerous scandals that have rocked the nation under the corrupt Akufo-Addo/Bawumia/NPP government. These inquiries shall include investigations into Ghana’s COVID-19 management and expenditures and the SML, ‘Agyapa’, Maths Sets, PDS, Sky Train, Pwalugu Dam, “Appearance Fees’, Ambulance Spare Parts scandals, illegal sole-sourced contracts scandals, among others”, he indicated.
He added “ all those who are in possession of our 2mlion dollars should advise themselves after the election is declared [in favour of the NDC].
Hon.Okudzeto therefore appealed to Ghanaians to support their quest to recover the loots by voting massively for John Mahama.
The NDC Manifesto Sectoral briefing today also offered an opportunity to MP for Adaklu Hon. Kwame Agbodza who touted NDC’s infrastructural achievements and Saajida Shiraz who spoke on Job creations and business development as captured in the NDC Manifesto.
