NDC FEC Reinstates Assin Central PC, Quashes Regional Decision, Suspends Chair and Secretary
The Functional Executive Council (FEC) of the NDC has overturned the decision taken by the NDC Central regional Executives to withdraw the Candidacy of the Assin Central NDC Parliamentary Candidate (PC) Comrade Shaibu Migyimah.
The Assin Central PC was withdrawn on allegations of immoral act- thus allegedly impregnating the wife of NDC secretary in the Constituency.
But the FEC believes that the decision smacks of anti-Party conducts and has consequently suspended the Regional Chairman and regional secretary one month each.
The decision by FEC was contained in a Press statement signed by the General Secretary of the NDC, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey.
