Mahama Campaigned for Days and Weeks Fasting ; God Showed him Mercy-Duncan Williams
The General Overseer of Action Chapel International, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams has revealed that President John Dramani Mahama campaigned for days and several weeks fasting.
He added that God showed him mercy in the election in view of the fasting.
Archbishop Duncan Williams was speaking at “Mahama Fellowships with Clergy” held at the Conference Centre in Accra on Friday.
“President Mahama campaigned for days and weeks without eating. He was fasting, so God showed him mercy”, The Archbishop stressed.
“At times I become scared whether he can withstand it”, he added.
Archbishop Williams described President Mahama as a humble and Godly person and urged the gathering to emulate his posture.
“Let the president attitude be your guiding example”, he admonished the gathering.
He also revealed that God, by this electoral victory has broken the generational curse in his family, therefore “you do not take for granted the God’s factor in governance”.
He however admonished the President not to use his power to settle personal scores as it is ungodly.
The Action Chapel General Overseer assured the President of the Clergy’s commitment to pray for him to succeed.
