Friday December 1 to Sunday December 3 was a scene to behold as Old Students of Koforidua Sec Tech other wise known as MMARIMA MMA stormed the school and the township with the captivating yellow T-Shirts in celebration of the 56th Homecoming and Speech and Prize ceremony of the School.

The Old Students, majority of whom moved from Accra in a convoy manner on Thursday converged on campus in the evening and moved to their various dormitories to interact with the current students and acquaint themselves with the state of the infrastructure in the school.

On Friday December, 1, 2023, the old students numbering about 2,000 embarked on a massive walk on the principal streets of Koforidua with their signature colours drawing people close to catch a glimpse at the unfolding event.

The 3-Day homecoming also saw the old students engaging in aerobics and participating in what used to be the most crucial moment for every student thus “Dinning” where they “screeched”[ dishing out little food] the juniors in an ambiance full of ecstasy and enthusiasm.

They were later involved in a clean up exercise where they cleaned all the compound with the current students and supervised them in cleaning the dormitories and laying their beds.

The Saturday saw the the Speech and prize giving day where deserving students and old students were Honored.

As part of the homecoming celebration, the old Students also seized the opportunity to hand over a renovated ICT Centre to the School as well as presenting food items, drinks and toiletries to the school.

The entire Celebration was climaxed with a “Weekend Rendezvous” on Saturday evening at Summit Lodge and a massive Church service where old students put on the Sec-Tech ceremonial cloth and danced their stresses out.
