Jean Mensah Demotes Serebour Quaicoo
The Chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC) Jean Mensah has demoted Mr. Serebour Quaicoo who used to be the Director of Electoral services .
The hardworking Director of Electoral Services has been transferred to Di Training Department at the head office as Director Training.
It is not known what might have caused the demotion of a person whom Analysts have described as better communicator of electoral issues than any of the Commissioners.
But it is widely believed that the transfer or demotion is intended to pave the way for manipulation of the 2024 elections.
The transfer was contained in a statement issued to the media and signed by Jean Mensa, part of which read “ you are required to hand over the commission’s property in your custody to the Deputy Chairman Operations”.
Meanwhile many are reading meanings into the last but one paragraph as captured above arguing that the transfer is borne out of bad fate.
