The Elephant of Ivory Coast have beaten Nigeria 2-1 to lift the AFCON 2024.
The Super Eagles opened the score line but the Ivory Coast came back strong after the first half to equalize.
They continued mounting pressure upon pressure on the Super Eagles until the Super Eagles succumbed to the pressure with Sebastian Haller tapping a ball into the net from a crossing.
Meanwhile there is total jamboree in Ivory coast by the citizenry who are celebrating the feat of their national team.
