Social media has been awashed with picture of the IGP, Dr. George Akufo Dampare following the latter’s quest to buy roasted plantain and groundnut otherwise known as Kofi brokeman in the full glare of the public.

Many who know the IGP can attest to his down-to-earth nature but this very act of selflessness on his part has triggered mixed reactions on social media as people can not fathom why a person of his calibre would get out of his car alone, go buy the plantain and hold it himself back into the car as captured in the image above.

IGP, Dr. George Akufo Dampare holding the Kofi brokeman

Astonished by the young lady seller over IGP’s bravado, she gazed at him whilst walking back to his car with the packed plantain in his hands.

There are however people who believe that the IGP could have sent his Aide De- Camp to do so on his behalf but others also are applauding him for his already known humble nature.

For now, until the IGP himself breaks his silence on why he walked himself to buy the Kofi broke man, all other opinions are unjustifiably hear say.
