“I Will Be the Next President of Ghana”-Bernard Mornah…As He Files His Nomination to Contest the Flagbearer Race
PNC Flagbearer Hopeful, Mr. Bernard Anbaayatela Mornah has expressed optimism of becoming the next President of Ghana should he be elected as the Party’s Presidential Candidate.
PNC has slated its Presidential primaries on 31st August, 2024, a primaries Mr. Mornah believes would be a water-loo for his contenders owing to his contributions to the Party and how marketable and appealing he is to the Delegates and Ghanaians at large.
The former PNC Chairman made this statement when he filed his nominations at the Party head office in Accra on Friday to contest the Party’s Presidential primaries.
He explained that he is in the race to rejuvenate the dying brand of the Party and more importantly clinch power from the NPP government to become the next President.
“32 years of NDC and NPP has sunk the confidence of the youth in Ghana. They need a redeemer.
Bernard Anbaayatela Mornah has come to rescue the people of Gha a to ensure that no Ghanaian is born into debt but into wealth ”, the PNC Flagbearer hopeful stressed.
Enumerating some of his policies, Mr. Mornah, whose slogan into the race is BAM4 Change 2024 revealed that he intends to nationalize the local languages like the Japans, Germans and the Chinese have done which he said has propelled the development of their countries.
The move, he said is also to boost the confidence of traders to feel that the language they speak to trade is what is making money and keeping the economy afloat.
When a Chinese man fails to speak good English you applaud him, when French man fails to speak good English you applaud him, when a Russian fails to speak good English you applaud him when a Lebaneses fails to Speak good English you applaud him but when a Ghanaian fails to speak good English you start to mock at him” he pointed out.
He argued that our local languages must become languages of strength and importance adding that no country in the world has been able to develop without a connection to its language.
Filing of Nominations.
Mr. Mornah told the Party officials that all the forms have received endorsement from Party members , an indication of his preparedness and popularity within the Party.
Having satisfied all the requirements of the Party including the payment of the filing fee of gh100,000 the former Party Chairman prevails upon the Party to make the register available to the Aspirants.
He expressed worry over the delay in the publication of the register maintaining that such actions smack of bad faith.
“ I want to see the full compliments the register”, he added.
Mr. Mornah later thanked his campaign team and his followers and assured them and the Party that “ Ghana will see a new President and that leader is Bernard Anbaayatela Mornah”.
Receiving the forms, the PNC Youth Organizer, Mark Ewusi Arkoh assured his former Chairman that the register will be published in no time.
