“I Was Not Born a CEO; My First Job Was to Weigh Vegetables at a Shop”-MTN Ghana CEO

The CEO of MTN Ghana, Mr. Steven Blewett has revealed his career journey emphasizing on his humble beginnings as vegetables weigher at a shop.

He said that job did not discourage him to become who he is today.

Mr. Blewett who took over from Selorm Adadevoh as MTN Ghana CEO, a few months ago, was addressing students of Aburi Sec-Tech in the Eastern region as part of MTN Ghana’s volunteering work.

“I Was Not Born a CEO; My First Job Was to Weigh Vegetables at a Shop”, Mr. Blewett revealed.

He motivated the students to believe in themselves and to learn hard to become leaders in society.

He challenged the students to have faith in themselves and to learn the use of technology.

The Students who were overly elated seeing a person of Mr. Blewett’s calibre addressing them expressed their gratitude to the MTN CEO and MTN Ghana for the honour done them.
