GJA President, Information Minister Sign Grandmaster Avenorgbo’s Book of Condolence Opened at Press Centre.

GJA President Albert Kwabena Dwumfour, Minister for Information, Madam Fatimatu Abubakar have signed the book of condolence opened in memory of veteran Journalist Godwin Avenorgbo.

The duo, together with the family of the late Avenorgbo and other notable Journalists signed the book of condolence at the Press Centre on Monday (August 26, 2024).

The GJA President, in his address said Grand master as he is affectionately called has contributed so much in deepening the frontiers of media in Ghana hence deserves to be celebrated through the opening of the book of condolence.

The Minister for Information, on her part paid a glowing tribute to the veteran Broadcaster saying he will be remembered for his impeccable and unblemished eloquence in the Queen’s language.

Grandmaster Avenorgbo until his death was the Chairman of the GJA I5tj Anniversary committee and the Director of Communications at Melcom Group.
